APS – Welder/Fitter
American Processing Services (APS) is seeking a skilled and dependable Welder/Fitter to join our growing team. As part of the AIG family of companies, APS supports industrial fabrication and material processing needs with precision and speed. This role involves hands-on fabrication work, reading technical drawings, and preparing materials that help power critical infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate brings attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.
Location: Mt. Vernon, IN
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
Perform welding and fitting tasks with precision and efficiency
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Fabricate parts according to specifications
Operate fork trucks and other material handling equipment safely
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Support overall team safety and production goals
